Restaurant-bar "très belge"; expect the unexpected....

You will find us on the historic "Place du Grand Sablon", a historical landmark and a true paradise for antique, vintage and chocolate lovers.  Since 2015, Pop Up Sablon has been one of Brussels' "places-to-be", welcoming both local and international guests 7 days a week in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

The vintage décor is made up of an array of eclectic objects, pig lamps, mirrors... that blend effortlessly with the original white wooden beams and confuse the senses between Scandinavia and Ibiza! The three most attractive areas are the restaurant on the first floor overlooking the Place du Sablon, the cosy bar with a convivial seating area and bar tables on the ground floor as well as the sunny terrace.

The menu features a selection of Belgian brasserie-style dishes and seasonal suggestions prepared using only the best local produce. Grey North Sea shrimp croquettes, farmer's chicken vol-au-vent, Flemish beef beer stew, 'américan frites', sea bass baked in a sea salt crust, a succulent veal chop with truffle shavings, a selection of pasta and a range of homemade desserts.
The wine list offers some pleasant surprises, including some very nice bottles from Australia at tempting prices.
Seasonal cocktails are lovingly prepared and can be enjoyed at the bar or on the terrace.

The restaurant is open seven days a week and offers breakfast from 07:30: a light version on weekdays and an extended brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
From Monday to Friday, a weekday lunch is available for €16 (1 course) or €20 (2 courses), and for night owls, there's always spaghetti bolognese.

As the days get warmer, Friday nights get even hotter with "Sablon Beats".
With a live DJ set, you can relax after a long week at work and enjoy the sunset on the terrace.

Whether for a sociable drink or a good meal, when you push the doors of Pop Up Sablon open, you'll immediately feel at home.
